soda flower burner
In soda firing, when the kiln reaches the desired temperature, soda water is sprayed into the kiln. As the temperature exceeds 1100°C, the sodium in the soda begins to react with the silica in the clay. This process promotes the formation of glazes, showing a variety of effects.
[Material] Porcelain clay & glaze, kiln fired at 1200 degrees.
[Dimensions] 8 cm wide and 15.5 cm high.
