**【Centennial Craftsmanship】**
"Chasing" (pronounced *fāng*) is a form of metal artistry that arrived in Japan with Buddhism during the Asuka period (592-710 AD), evolving into metalworking techniques like gold carving and hammering. It was often used for ornate metal decorations on Buddhist ritual objects. As times changed, Chasing Metalwork gradually extended into daily life as an elegant embellishment, weaving extraordinary century-old craftsmanship stories into the everyday.

**【Original Engraved Patterns】**
The patterns draw inspiration from the "cloud and thunder patterns" found on traditional Eastern bronzeware, depicting a magnificent scene of dragons soaring through a sea of clouds. As the dragon's head emerges, it brings auspicious blessings, nurturing the natural cycle of all things in constant renewal.

Featuring a custom-made German 14K gold nib by YSTUDIO, it offers a balanced feel and a smooth writing experience. The "Dragon" character is engraved on the nib, echoing the majestic aura of the dragon-patterned body. Through multiple stages of hand polishing and fine finishing, it embodies the stories and meaning conveyed by the artisan's craft.

**【Dragon Chasing Metalwork Display Wood Box】**
Crafted from solid zelkova wood, the Dragon Chasing Metalwork Display Wood Box features robust inner and outer walls to create ample storage space. A specially designed groove allows the Dragon Chasing Metalwork pen to stand upright within the box, showcasing the unique collectible value of its exquisite craftsmanship. We are honored to have invited Japanese chisel artisan Mitsuhiro Ito to personally inscribe the calligraphy "一意專心,人生一路" (Single-minded focus, a life's journey), which is then engraved and gilded onto the box lid. This powerful stroke symbolizes the artisan's lifelong commitment and unwavering dedication to their craft.

**▌ Ito Metal Carving Workshop**
Established around 1920. This is one of the few remaining workshops in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, that specializes in handcrafted metal carving using chisels. The third-generation representative is Mr. Mitsuhiro Ito.
Born in 1943, he joined the family business, Ito Metal Carving Workshop, in 1965, apprenticing under his father, Kinjiro Ito. Since then, he has been working behind the scenes to create metal fittings for traditional Buddhist altars, ritual objects, shrines, and temples in Japan.

**▌ Takeuchi & Co., Ltd.**
Founded in 1967, originally a company producing chandeliers. Currently, it primarily manufactures and repairs metal fittings for Buddhist altar decorations. While engaging in traditional crafts, the company has also introduced mechanical equipment, producing over 3,000 types of metal decorative pieces to date. Emphasizing the soft texture that only hand carving can achieve, they produce products of stable quality. Furthermore, they create metal accessories that transcend religious equipment and integrate into daily life.

**▌ Mr. Naoki Takeuchi, Head of Takeuchi Chasing Metalwork**
Born in Kyoto in 1982. He is responsible for the production and manufacturing of his family business, "Takeuchi Chasing Metalwork," primarily engaged in the production and restoration of metal fittings for Buddhist altars and hardware for shrines and temples. In 2020, he launched his own brand, "KAZARINO," and in the same year, became the representative director of Takeuchi & Co., Ltd. Based on the core spirit of chasing metalwork—"the power of adornment"—the brand aims to help people find greater joy through decorating their lives and continues to challenge the application and evolution of chasing metalwork beyond conventional boundaries.
