Near the Himalayas, the Kashmir region developed a unique craft of boiled wool to withstand its distinct, frigid climate. At high altitudes, water boils at a lower temperature. In the morning, as the sun rises, wool products are steeped in melted snow from the plateau and then heated to a boil. As the sun sets in the evening, the woolens are dried under the moonlight. This intricate process not only purges impurities but also causes the wool fibers to contract and tighten, creating a denser weave. Finally, women artisans hand-weave and embroider each piece, resulting in textiles with unique colors and stitching patterns.

Hand washable; machine washing is recommended with a laundry bag.
Material:
100% Himalayan Cashmere Wool
Dimensions:
70 x 180 cm
(Due to variations in individual measurement methods and positions, all dimensions are measured horizontally by hand. Actual sizes may have slight discrepancies due to fabric elasticity, measurement starting points, etc. An error margin of ±3cm is considered within the acceptable range according to international inspection standards.)
Recommended Cleaning Method:
1. Fill a basin with an appropriate amount of laundry powder and mix with lukewarm water. Lay the scarf flat in the basin and gently press up and down with both hands about twenty to thirty times. This allows the detergent solution to flow through the fiber gaps, preventing the fibers from tangling.
2. Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean.
3. Gently wring out the scarf to remove excess water. Lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack in a cool, shaded area to air dry naturally. Exposure to UV rays can cause wool to yellow.
