*The light blue glaze we have been using has become difficult to obtain, so we are using a new glaze. This coarse red clay allows you to enjoy the rough texture and warmth that is unique to ceramic clay. A glaze that produces a rich, warm light blue color. I created a soup cup that combines these two elements. It is a generous size, larger than a typical soup cup. It can also handle hearty soups and vegetable stews. The vivid yet somehow rustic and warm colors go well with colorful soups such as white potage and minestrone. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and all processes, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand. The plump, rounded shape, rough texture, and slight weight give it a ceramic feel. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand.
