" Scarab " In ancient Egypt, the scarab beetle, observed rolling a ball of dung, was revered as a manifestation of the sun god, likened to the god Khepri pushing the sun across the sky. On natural beige linen, a scarab is embroidered in gold, symbolizing the sun's light. The dung ball is represented by a line embroidery, evoking its rolling path. The reverse side of the fabric is mud-dyed silk linen, lending a gentle, sun-kissed sheen. The interior of the pouch is lined with a durable and textured beige cotton linen. This pouch is an upcycled creation, made entirely from leftover fabric scraps from our production process.
