Extra Small size carrier is very compact & is a great choice for those who have very tiny dogs - “pocket” dogs :) It fits approximately up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs) pets. But this is just a rough idea & recommendation for you better to imagine the actual size of a purse. If your pet is 2 kg (4.4 lbs) that doesn’t necessarily mean that he/she will fit in Extra Small size carrier. Body length & height of your pet is very important too!!! Please pay attention to the measurements of Small size purse!
If you like to use a blanket inside the carrier, then we highly recommend to consider Medium size because it is simply not enough space inside Extra Small size purse. If you need a carrier for long trips, flights or you simply prefer your pet to have more extra space to stretch out, then Medium size is a better choice too. If your pet is still a baby and you are not sure how big he/she will grow, it is also safer to go for Medium size.
