When Chuan Chuan was found, he was three months old—a mischievous and chatty kitten with ever-sparkling eyes. The name "Chuan Chuan" was inspired by the numerous "川" (chuān) characters that form his coat pattern, a character that also resembles a cat's paw. The original artwork for this postcard was created with colored pencils. The front features a comparison to the photo taken on the day Chuan Chuan was first found, while the illustration on the back depicts him as he grew.
