Washing and Care Instructions
Xiangyunsha is a traditional handmade fabric crafted by coating textiles with the sap of the Dioscorea cirrhosa, a special plant from Guangdong, then covering it with mineral-rich mud from the riverbanks unique to the Pearl River Delta, and finally processing it through sun exposure. To ensure this fabric accompanies you for a long time, please familiarize yourself with the following care guidelines:
1. Please hand wash gently in cold water. Avoid vigorous rubbing and do not wring dry. Allow to air dry naturally in a cool, shaded place.
2. Please refrain from using soap or cleaning agents containing alkaline properties or bleach. It is recommended to wash with clean water or a mild body wash.
3. Color shedding during washing is a natural phenomenon of the plant-based, handmade dyeing process. Please wash separately from light-colored garments.
4. If ironing is necessary, please place a cloth between the iron and the fabric. The temperature should be kept below 150°C.
