Okunoshima, Japan, commonly known as Rabbit Island,
was once a base for manufacturing lethal poison gas during wartime.
Introduced by humans, it has since transformed into a gentle island teeming with rabbits.
These beautiful creatures can be encountered amidst artillery ruins, on sandy beaches, or along forest paths.
Their burgeoning vitality has not only given the island new life but also healed our hearts.
