Each leaf is unique, tied with real cotton string. This wrapping style is based on traditional zongzi preparation. The cotton string is coated with protective varnish, giving it a slightly firm texture, though this does not detract from the visual appeal. Please handle with care and avoid forceful pulling. The dumpling is securely adhered; do not attempt to disassemble to prevent damage. (The interior is made of a different type of clay.) Due to the intricate nature of this design, the success rate is quite low, and the drying time is exceptionally long.
