**[Artist's Note]** **This creation is an extension of my "Drawing Tainan Series."** **I wanted to incorporate bowls of delicious food into stationery for playful use,** **hence "A Bowl of Snacks," and hence "Let's 'Play' with Snacks!"** Each Tainan specialty is meticulously captured, sweet and savory, dry and soupy – six in total. We even borrowed beautifully-valued bowls from neighbors to create the perfect presentation... ● For the **Mee Kueh (Sticky Rice Cake)**, the diced braised pork must be visible, and the rice grains distinct. ● For the **Danzai Noodles**, adding a braised egg to the plate is crucial, with shrimp carefully selected for the best photographic appeal. ● For the **Gua Bao (Savory Rice Pudding)**, the salted egg yolk and shiitake mushrooms must be seen to show abundance, and the drizzled sauce should shimmer. ● For the **Squid Rice Noodles**, they need to look beautifully fresh and sweet, with the pepper salt sprinkled before it soaks into the broth for the shot. ● For the **Milkfish Belly Porridge**, adding fried dough sticks is essential for that Tainan flavor. The oysters and fish belly should capture fine details, while supporting ingredients like celery, cilantro, and the shimmering fish oil on the soup's surface must also be clearly visible. ● A bag of **Traditional Desserts** is a must after the meal, featuring white sugar cake, sweet potato puffs, and taro cakes. The oil-stained paper bag is presented realistically for a fun touch! After shooting, we ate everything.
