Ed, the Taiwanese animator who loves surfing and nature, has devoted himself to the design of outdoor activities that are loved and developed by combining good craftsmanship, sharing this passion for nature with you It's a pity to just surf picnic camping as a leisure activity, and designers think it should be a better lifestyle to promote life style The name Forest & Waves is inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, including the pine trees, the waves crashing across the woods on the shore and the wind. Forest represents my hobby: camping and mountaineering, and Waves reflects my passion for surfing and grew up in a village by the sea in Taiwan. Nature is the best designer in the world, and my inspiration for designing Forest & Waves products stems from this. Designer introduction About Ed Ed was born and raised in a small seaside village in Taiwan; at a young age he and his family emigrated to Toronto, Canada. Since the beginning of memory, he has been drawing. Growing in a family full of travelers and entrepreneurs, Ed naturally connects with the outdoors and nature. His dad had sailed from East Asia to the Red Sea, and his mom used to go camping with his family. After years of working in an animated film studio, Ed realizes he needs to change the pace of his life. In 2012, Ed decided to start his own career to become an independent artist. By designing and creating beautiful objects to include his vision for outdoor favorites, he founded Forest & Waves. Forest & Waves have a reputation for being outdoors, while Vancouver, Canada is a city full of nature lovers. Ed can use his living environment and West Bank culture to continue to grow the brand.
