For example, it might have been used to hold one liter of rice, given as a celebration or a return gift. It didn't have a specific name and was called "fuguro," a corruption of "fukuro" (bag). "FUGURO" is a remake that revives this traditional custom. The material is kimono fabric with auspicious patterns, carefully selected from thousands of kimonos stored away in wardrobes. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with wishes for the recipient's happiness sewn into its very being.
