With a hardness of 6.5-7, jadeite is relatively easy to carve and polish, which is why carved jadeite pieces and items are commonly found in the market. Currently, some jadeite of lower quality can be treated with strong acid immersion or laser etching to fill colors, making them visually similar to high-grade jadeite. In the market, jadeite products are typically identified by the labels A, B, and C to distinguish their quality: - Grade A Jadeite: Natural, untreated jadeite. - Grade B Jadeite: Bleached and resin-infused jadeite, treated with strong acid cleaning and resin filling. - Grade C Jadeite: Dyed jadeite, artificially colored. Only Grade A jadeite is considered genuine; the rest are artificially treated. 💖 Care Instructions 💖 - When not wearing for extended periods, store in a moisture-proof bag to minimize contact with air. - Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from friction. Chain jewelry should be fastened and stored in a moisture-proof bag to avoid tangling. - Sterling Silver: Polish with a silver polishing cloth. - Gold Filled/Plated Materials: Wipe with a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaning solution). - Jadeite & Gemstones: Gently brush the jadeite with a soft toothbrush and clean water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a cotton cloth or air dry in a ventilated area. Avoid wearing jewelry while bathing in hot springs or near seawater. It is recommended to remove jewelry before showering. Avoid contact with chemical products (to prevent oxidation and fading). - It is advisable to apply sunscreen and perfume before putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade and designed. Avoid pulling, bending, twisting, or yanking when wearing. 🌹 Pre-Purchase Notes 🌹 - Jadeite is a natural mineral, so it is inevitable that there may be naturally occurring subtle stone lines, inclusions, vein patterns, dark spots, white impurities, mineral flaws, sand holes, or fragmented ice patterns within the ice-type jadeite structure. These are all natural phenomena and characteristics, not flaws. Please accept this before purchasing ♥ - Due to manual carving, there may be slight roughness or unevenness in polishing and grinding. Your understanding is appreciated. - Product photos are taken in natural light without retouching. However, color variations may occur due to individual screen resolutions and settings. Jadeite Charms Any jadeite can be designed into a charm. For example: Bag charms / Phone charms / Car charms / Desk charms / Door charms... etc. For custom orders, please consult with our designer ♡ After completion, a photo of the customized item will be sent for confirmation. Upon mutual agreement, it will be shipped. Customized items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. ✈️ Product Packaging ✈️ Eco-friendly paper box / Moisture-proof bag / Two layers of bubble wrap The moisture-proof bag is made of PVC material with double the thickness to better isolate air and prevent jewelry oxidation. 💌 After-Sales Service 💌 - For elastic bracelets (using Japanese silk thread), if small threads start to fray, please contact us for a replacement. Free re-stringing service is available. - If 14k gold-filled/plated chains discolor due to contact with chemical products, they can be mailed back for re-stringing (service fee: NT$300). - It is recommended to replace consumables annually, such as elastic threads / clasps / ear hooks / wax cords (service fee: NT$50 - NT$150).
