Rectangular still life-style plate

Pottery, handmade, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind Length 20.5 Width 25cm Height 3cm This rectangular plate features a still-life style design of bottles, vases, watermelons and fruit. The color scheme is monochrome, reminiscent of a sumi-e painting. A thick layer of red clay is roughly cut by hand into a rectangle, and only the left and right edges are raised. The sides of the base material are hammered with a Stone that has a depression in it, giving it an intentionally uneven appearance. The painting was done on top of a layer of white mud, so in places where the white mud has peeled off or where lines have been scratched with nails or pens, the painting has a fresco-like feel. The surface is coated with a thin layer of transparent glaze, so it is not smooth and shiny, but rather has a slightly rough and matte feel. *Unlike porcelain, pottery (earthenware) has a soft, warm ceramic surface. Also, there may be pinholes (holes in the glaze) or small chips in the glaze which do not affect the use of the product, but we hope that you will consider these to be part of the unique character of earthenware and add to its charm. This is the unique imperfect beauty, or charm, of earthenware. Since pottery is made from clay, when you hold it in your hands it gives a more rustic impression than it does in pictures. However, that's only at the beginning, and once you get used to it, you'll start to appreciate the quality of the real thing, its texture and simplicity. *The color of the actual product may not be exactly the same as the image, depending on the device you are using. I adjust images and list items on my PC, but they seem to look more vivid on my smartphone. Recently, we have been trying to match the colors to those on smartphones, but please be aware that there may be differences in color between the image and the actual product.
