Lao Dan, owner of the Mòqì Coffee shop in Taichung, is a veteran designer and a social activist. Formerly a supporter of the "689" political faction, he is now a staunch advocate for Taiwan's independence, dedicated to establishing Taiwan as a sovereign nation. He is widely recognized for his "Demolish Dapu Today, Demolish the Government Tomorrow" stickers and is the designer of the Taiwanese Independence Whale Flag.
