Crafted from a uniquely blended clay, it embodies the rustic simplicity and subtle texture characteristic of earthenware.
Shaped into a to-sui bowl perfect for the cooler months, it's fired with a golden-yellow crystalline glaze that highlights its earthy feel.
The rounded, plump form blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with an undeniable cuteness, creating a truly charming vessel.
With its generous depth, it's ideal for enjoying 2-3 types of ingredients along with the broth during hot pot meals.
Beyond hot pots, it's also wonderful for dishes with flavorful broths like agedashi tofu or jibu-ni, and even for serving rich potage soups.
Embrace its Japanese charm by using it for traditional sweets such as warabi mochi or shiratama dango.
We hope you'll enjoy it with a wide variety of dishes.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, from the initial clay preparation and shaping to the bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, using a small electric kiln and potter's wheel in my home studio.
While mass production isn't possible, each item possesses its own unique character, offering a distinct charm that comes from being handmade.
The item you receive will be the one shown in the product images.
The base has been carefully sanded to minimize any potential scratching on your table.
I continuously explore new combinations of glazes and clays, creating a diverse range of ceramics in various colors and forms.
Each piece is unique, appearing similar but truly one-of-a-kind.
It brings me great joy when someone finds a piece that truly resonates with them.
I hope you'll find a touch of warmth and comfort in the interplay of clay and glaze, adding a touch of everyday beauty to your life.

*Important Notes on Purchase and Use*
- Due to the porous nature of pottery, it may absorb liquids, potentially leading to staining within crazing or slight moisture seepage.
To address this, all our tableware undergoes a waterproofing treatment with a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial soaking (mezoma).
This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement.
If you prefer not to have the waterproofing treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase.
- Cutlery shown in product images is not included.
- Product images are edited and photographed to be as true to the actual item as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions. Please understand this in advance.
- As this item is also sold on other platforms, in the rare event of overlapping purchases, priority will be given to the customer who completes the purchase process first. We appreciate your understanding.
- While microwave (for reheating) and dishwasher use is possible, the vibrations from microwaves and the high-pressure spray in dishwashers may accelerate wear. We recommend using them sparingly.
- Please refrain from using this item in ovens or over open flames.
- After use, to prevent stains and mold, please wash thoroughly and ensure the item is completely dry before storing it in your cupboard or other storage.
