Sterling Silver Feather Pendant with Natural Stone Necklace: The main feather pendant measures 40x15mm. The necklace is adorned with turquoise (beads), lapis lazuli (faceted), garnet (square), and silver spacers. The metal components are crafted from 925 and 999 sterling silver. The necklace's internal wiring is made of German-made steel wire, with an overall length of 47cm (an extension chain can be added). This piece is an extension of previous explorations into necklace designs. The main pendant was actually a silver component I had set aside for quite some time. Its size was considerably larger than the floral elements I typically use, and incorporating it into other designs would have required careful consideration of the feather's curves and form within a specific framework to achieve overall balance. However, using it as a standalone pendant felt a bit plain, until it was rediscovered during this recent design process for a new necklace. The accompanying stones represent a classic combination in my heart. I chose a somewhat rugged turquoise, with deeper mineral veining that lends it a distinctive, untamed texture. This is contrasted with the deep, calming hue of lapis lazuli. Following interspersed silver spacers, I added a rich, purplish-red garnet. This color palette pays homage to the gem combinations often found in Tibetan artifacts and jewelry, which I deeply admire, and also evokes the vast skies I once gazed upon. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight. Small imperfections may also exist from drilling or polishing. ❖ Shipping is set to simple packaging, including protective cushioning and a shipping bag, along with a sealed pouch for storage. 【Artistic Wire Woven Jewelry】 ❖ Artistic wire is a specialized craft wire consisting of a copper core, plating, and a protective layer. With proper use and care, its color can remain vibrant for several years. ❖ Due to the plating and protective layer, please avoid using silver polishing cloths or toothpaste for cleaning, as this can rapidly degrade the plating. ❖ After wearing, gently wipe away moisture (especially sweat) with a soft cloth and store in the provided sealed pouch. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing these pieces during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as exercise, and when bathing in hot springs, as this can accelerate wire degradation and potentially damage the natural stones. 【Unplated Copper/Silver Wire Woven Jewelry / Sterling Silver Metalwork Jewelry】 ❖ Red copper wire, brass wire, and silver wire are unplated materials. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon, gradually developing into a patina (bronze/antique silver tones). The color and rate of oxidation will vary with wear and individual body chemistry, which is part of the unique character of bare wire jewelry. In terms of oxidation speed, red copper wire tends to oxidize more quickly (developing an antique red-copper hue within days to weeks), while brass and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Sulfurized (antiqued) wire offers a more stable color compared to untreated wire, although polished areas will still develop a natural patina over time. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can generally use a silver polishing cloth or gently brush with toothpaste, then dry with a cloth or a cool setting on a hairdryer. ❖ After wearing, wipe away moisture with a soft cloth and store in the provided sealed pouch. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing these pieces during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as exercise, and when bathing in hot springs, as this can accelerate wire oxidation and potentially damage the natural stones. ❖ Pieces made with unplated wire can be sent back for re-polishing at a later date (only return shipping fees will apply). 【Natural Stones】 ❖ Natural minerals may exhibit inclusions, patterns, minor chips, or dark spots.
