The land used to grow cotton must first be left fallow for 3 years. During the growth of the cotton, no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, or defoliants are permitted. The seeds must also be free from fungicides. This results in 100% organic cotton. Conventional cotton often requires one kilogram of insecticide for every three kilograms of cotton. Bleaching agents and chemical dyes are also used, along with chemical fertilizers to accelerate growth. In contrast, our 100% organic cotton tees are processed without any chemical additives. This makes them exceptionally comfortable and gentle to wear. The imported cotton must be certified organic by an international organization. The factory producing the fabric must also obtain international certification – the GOTS organic cotton certification. Each 100% organic cotton tee comes with a dedicated <organic cotton certification tag>, assuring consumers that they can enjoy the natural comfort of 100% organic cotton with peace of mind.
