The wood of the building was demolished from a wooden structure building in Taiwan 80 years ago. The exposed surfaces gradually oxidized naturally and turned into a darker color due to exposure to air and sunlight. They are not stained. The other surfaces were cut to reveal the true color of the wood.
The surface is coated with transparent paint + oil painting, which is waterproof to a certain extent. However, in order to retain the original warm and moist feel of the wood, no heavy oil paint is used, so it is not completely waterproof. The change rate of old wood is very low. Although it is not easy to deform and crack, the surface is still New time traces may be generated.

- Listing Summary
- "Mitarai-machi" is a maritime transportation relay in the Seto Inland Sea. Time has stayed in the Edo period. The old street shops have unique hand-painted log signs, which have the warmth of handwork and the beauty of imperfection. They have been polished by time, old and calm. I have seen it. These signs became more and more beautiful as they got older, so I decided to start making hand-painted solid wood signboards, hoping that Taiwan would also have some signboards with a tactile feel.
