Our Salted Egg Yolk Pastry has been reformulated this year.
Initially, it was created for patients who were unwell,
who wished to enjoy their beloved pastry during their recovery.
As custom orders were not available elsewhere,
they found us by chance.
The owner specially improved the recipe,
making the pastry less oily and less sweet.
This version features a pure red bean paste filling,
with only half a salted egg yolk added.
It might not be as fragrant or as flaky as those found elsewhere,
but it offers a healthier choice.
