This slightly coarse clay has a pale brown color and a rustic, warm feel.
After molding the teacup into a cute, round shape, we applied patterns using colorful decorative mud.
Pale green and bright yellow, with dark green adding a nice contrast to the rest, and white dripping like raindrops or sunlight.
The design is inspired by young grass sprouting in the sunlight that melts the snow, and the yellow flowers that the grass bears.
The edges of the vessels are accented with an underglaze paint called sabi.
When you hold it in both hands, the curves of the bowl fit comfortably in your palm.
The rustic atmosphere and texture make it perfect for warm, Japanese drinks like green tea and roasted green tea.
In addition, the simple earthy flavor harmonizes well with ingredients grown in the soil, so it can also be used to serve a small soup.
It can also be used as a container for matcha pudding, roasted green tea pudding, mini anmitsu, etc.
Please enjoy it with a variety of dishes.
I have an electric pottery kiln and an electric wheel at home, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand.
The item you receive will be the same as the product image.
To avoid damaging your table as much as possible, the installation surface will be sanded down before delivery.
Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations.
It is impossible to create two identical pieces, so although they may look similar, each piece is unique.
I would be very happy if you could find your favorite.
We hope you enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere created by the ceramic clay and decorative mud as a way to add color to your daily life.
