Local ghost legends often reflect the societal conditions, prevailing atmosphere, and unique historical background of their time, making them invaluable to record and preserve. Through a collection of a hundred years of Hong Kong's folklore, we aim to explore the city's historical culture and identity. 『Ghost Stories』 uses candy toy stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost legends. These stickers first appeared in 1977, included with Japanese snack packaging, typically measuring 4.8 x 4.8cm. They were commonly known as "chocolate cookie stickers," "candy toy stickers," or "biscuit stickers." In the 80s and 90s, influenced by Japanese pop culture, these "candy toy stickers" became a collective childhood memory for many in Hong Kong. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories, combining them with candy toy stickers to create a new media format, a richly illustrated compendium of Hong Kong's supernatural. The project features 100 candy toy stickers themed around Hong Kong ghost stories. For each tale, we've created a unique monster character with a brief description. The stickers are enhanced with special printing effects like holographic finishes, gold foil, and silver foil to elevate the collectibility of 『A Hundred Ghost Stories of Hong Kong』. The 『A Hundred Ghost Stories of Hong Kong』 sticker series compiles local ghost tales, with original illustrations and text bringing these mysterious events to life. Volume 7 includes "The Braided Girl," "Oxtail Soup in the Dormitory," "The Lotus Pond Ghost," and "The Door."
