About Washi Paper vs. PET: 1/ PET tapes may exhibit slight noise, while washi tapes have minimal noise. 2/ The unprinted areas of PET tape are transparent, making it easy to cut out motifs, which is more beginner-friendly for collaging. Washi tape is opaque. 3/ PET tape features white ink, making it less prone to show-through compared to washi tape. 4/ PET tape offers some water resistance, while washi tape is not waterproof. 5/ The "heavy oil" effect on PET tape generally appears brighter, while the same effect on washi tape offers a more layered texture.
