Booksite Special Edition

The independent curatorial unit from Taichung—Artqpie—took an abandoned space in Taichung's old district and brought their vision of the city (from flat design) into reality as a physical space (three-dimensional). Under the name "Booksite," they initiated a six-month project called the "Ephemeral Reading Space." This "Booksite Special Edition" journal transforms the tangible back into a paper record, narrating Booksite's initial inspirations, concepts, the construction process, and the ways people interact with the space. The entire book is hosted and edited by Let's Zine, and features a preface written by Mao Li Chang from "Here Often," introducing our passion and dedication to space.
