[ One-of-a-kind, Ethical Product ]
A hand-woven shoulder bag made by the Karen people living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Cotton threads are naturally dyed, then meticulously finished over a long period through hand-weaving and hand-sewing.
This design features traditional patterns woven into the fabric, making it an even more intricate piece.
As the colors and patterns are left to the weaver's artistic sense, each piece is a precious, one-of-a-kind item that can only be encountered at this moment.
The navy color is dyed using indigo and ebony.
The charm lies in the warm hues of natural dyeing and the rich, expressive texture unique to hand-woven fabric.
Pair it with casual outfits, dresses, or natural-style ensembles to add a focal point to your look.
.
With a simple design lacking pockets or zippers, it's conveniently spacious, holding more than it appears.
Light and easy to carry, its ample capacity makes it perfect for daily use.
.
The woven fabric softens with use, and the wide shoulder strap makes it comfortable to wear, reducing fatigue.
It can also be compactly folded for storage when not in use.
Made from natural materials, it's also perfect for outings to natural spots like campsites or beaches, and outdoor events.
This hand-woven bag, filled with the charm of craftsmanship, is also recommended as a gift.
Incidentally, the Karen people use this bag to carry things like machetes and rice wrapped in banana leaves when they go to work in the fields or herd buffaloes, or to carry chewing tobacco and wallets when they go out.
We hope you will enjoy using it freely, perhaps imagining their mountain life.

*Red color uses chemical dyes and synthetic fibers.
*Threads are starched with rice paste. The starch will typically wash out after about two washes, and the fabric will soften.
*Due to natural dyeing and hand-weaving, colors and textures may change depending on the usage environment. Darker colors, in particular, may fade slightly during the first few washes. We hope you will enjoy the aging process as if you were nurturing the fabric.
*For washing, we recommend gentle hand washing with a neutral detergent, separately, and then air drying in the shade. If using a washing machine, wash separately on a gentle cycle (hand wash mode) in a net. However, using a washing machine may accelerate fabric damage and color fading.

*About the Product.
We handcraft our products using natural materials. Therefore, the weave, stitching, colors, and patterns are not uniform like mass-produced items.
Furthermore, the dyeing, weaving, embroidery, and sewing techniques of the Karen tribe are traditionally passed down as home crafts rooted in daily life. They differ from professional techniques.
While we strive for accuracy, there may be imperfections unlike those found in mass-produced or professionally made products. We ask for your understanding and purchase, considering it as the charm of handcrafts passed down from mother to child.

[Care for Natural Dye and Hand-Woven Products]
Natural dye products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points when caring for and using them.
Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. When wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags, be careful of color transfer. Using dark-colored clothing or bags together may make color transfer less noticeable. Darker colors, in particular, are prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing.
Also, when washing, we recommend hand washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, place in a net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, washing in a washing machine may accelerate fabric damage and color fading. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade.
- About Starching.
For fabric products, rice paste may be used to starch the threads, but the starch will typically wash out after about two washes.
