Please specify in the notes if you have any special requirements **Course Content** - What is knitting? The journey from yarn to garment - Knitting techniques and types: coarse gauge and fine gauge - Yarn introduction: double-ply, single-ply, and metallic yarns - Knitting tools introduction: flat knitting machine and crochet hook - Flat knitting machine techniques: changing yarn, picking stitches, knitting, and binding off - Operating the flat knitting machine (a great way to tone your arms while you work) - Lining stitching techniques - Finishing and steaming - Basic sewing - Care and maintenance of knitwear Beyond knitting techniques, you will also learn leatherworking skills, including: - Use of leather tools: round hole punches and stamping tools - Strap production techniques - Edge finishing - Leather surface care **Transportation** __ Bus__: 99, 299, 299 (Shuttle), 616, 686 (Shuttle), 805, 820, Blue 18, F208, Neihu Technology Park Commuter Bus __ MRT__: The nearest station is Xinzhuang Station.
