Fair trade is not a new concept. It has been international for many years. In 2011, Lübech Living contacted the local team in Sri Lanka through the introduction, which was also the beginning of the establishment of OOhh.
Through project cooperation, a group of women with poor living conditions were recruited by hand, and recycled materials were used as raw materials to develop a series of flower and home decoration accessories. To date, Lübech Living has established a very close relationship with the local team, visiting Sri Lanka 4-5 times a year, turning the design into physical goods and learning more about the local materials that can be used.
Now, 200 women can rely on making OOhh products at home as an important source of income in their lives, and they can also take care of their families. Through the development of OOhh, we hope to expand the team and help more families. .
