It also includes augmented reality (AR) interactive mini-games to help children practice. To write the story, we interviewed more than ten people who experienced their parents’ divorce. Even more than ten or twenty years later, some interviewees were still moved to tears when recalling certain moments. There is a saying: “Lucky people use their childhood to heal a lifetime; unlucky people use a lifetime to heal their childhood.” We hope this illustrated book can be a source of comfort for children facing family changes. It also reminds parents that even if a marriage cannot continue, they should still tell their child: “We are separating not because you did anything wrong. We will always love you as your parents, for a lifetime.” If parents handle the situation with care and awareness, then even if children need time to heal from their parents’ divorce, it does not have to take a lifetime.
