PEC04 - Quilted Texture

This series, "Inflated," draws inspiration from the common inflatable materials found in everyday markets, typically crafted from woven polyester and nylon fabrics. In this experimental creation, we've transformed these objects, presenting them with an inflatable aesthetic rendered in precious metal. Generated using 3D software, we captured the natural texture and varied folds of fabric, then used 3D printing to create wax molds. This process allows us to craft metal into forms that appear soft and yielding, reminiscent of inflated balloons. ___________ 925 silver / Handmade oosi_ aos operates as a solo studio.
