Product Description

This teapot is themed around the Golden Hall of Chusonji Temple, a famous temple in Iwate Prefecture. The surface of the teapot is decorated with a picture of the Golden Hall of Chusonji Temple. On the back is a haiku by Matsuo Basho. It is said that the poem was composed by Matsuo Basho when he visited the Golden Hall of Chusonji Temple. The color gold is used to represent the majestic decoration of the Golden Hall. Nanbu ironware teapots have excellent heat retention, so they can bring out the flavor and aroma of the tea leaves to the fullest. The inside is enameled. Capacity is approximately 0.3L. The perfect size for making tea for 1 to 2 people. ※Do not heat and use as a water heater as the enamel may crack. ※Iron will not leach out. ※Engraving design may vary depending on production lot.
