Although Dr. Chang did not use a neutral density filter when photographing the annular eclipse back then, a thin veil of clouds naturally created a dimming effect. Coincidentally, a sailboat was anchored at sea at that precise moment. With favorable timing and location, Dr. Chang captured this harmonious and beautiful scene!
