Written on the Moon 《月亮寄语》Love Note.
The idea was inspired by Victorian Puzzle Purse, which was used to exchange romantic messages during 1700s in England and Colonial America. For this project, I used the Chinese theme Qixi Festival (the Chinese equivalent of Valentine's day) , originated from an ancient Chinese mythology of a fairy-disguised weaver girl fell in love with a cowherd boy in the human world, as well as the mid-autumn festival elements.
The illustration was hand-drawn by me with pastel, color pencil and watercolour.
🧑🏻🎨Note: The version you will receive has no text on the moon. The moon is designed for you to write your own note.
