| Purchase Notes |
1. To minimize packaging for environmental purposes, we utilize recycled cardboard boxes or packing materials, ensuring secure delivery.
2. All ceramic materials used in our studio are lead-free and fired at temperatures above 1200°C, ensuring they are safe and non-toxic for your peace of mind.
3. Variations in glaze texture are natural during the firing process. Phenomena such as crazing, crackling, glaze crawling, or minor pinholes are considered normal.
4. All pieces are photographed in natural light, and efforts are made to calibrate the images to minimize discrepancies between the photos and the actual glaze color. However, variations may occur due to screen color differences across devices. The actual product color is the standard.
5. Each piece is handcrafted, resulting in slight variations in size. Clay and glaze colors may differ due to variations in kiln atmosphere and temperature. These are the unique characteristics and charm of handmade ceramics. If you are a perfectionist, please review the product details carefully before making a purchase.
| Before Use & Care Instructions |
1. Pottery is not recommended for use in electric steamers, microwave ovens, ovens, or direct flame heating. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the piece is made from clay specifically designed for heat resistance (e.g., sandpot clay).
2. If using ceramics as tableware, rinse and clean off any surface dirt before the first use. Wash with a sponge or soft dishcloth and mild dish soap. Avoid scrubbing with steel wool or other abrasive materials to prevent scratching the surface. Afterward, wipe dry with a cloth and place in a well-ventilated area to air dry, preventing mold.
3. The glaze surface may gradually develop fine cracks upon heating and cooling, which is a normal phenomenon. Each use will be absorbed by the pottery, gradually imbuing it with the warmth of your daily life.
4. Matte glazes are more prone to tea stains and marks from dark-colored foods than glossy glazes. Crazed areas of the glaze may also accumulate tea and coffee stains, serving as a record of your daily use. You can clean these with baking soda, citric acid, or a magic sponge. This does not affect usability. To minimize residue, soak the item in water or wash it immediately after use.
5. If you have any questions or wish to know more details, please feel free to contact the designer through our platform, or search for "日常陶皿" on FB and IG to get in touch. We will respond to you as soon as possible.
