Pearl Variety: Chinese Freshwater Cultured Pearl
Pearl Size: 4.5–5mm
Metal Material: Silver Buckle (925 Silver)
Chain Length: Approximately 80cm at the outermost circle (two/three-layer design)
Inspired by the aesthetics of the "Jazz Age" of the 1920s.
That was an era when pearls symbolized freedom and elegance, and women showcased flowing light with long strands of pearls.
This "Flowing Light Era" two/three-layer pearl necklace uses delicate 4.5–5mm freshwater pearls strung together to create a soft, layered luster.
Each pearl is hand-matched, boasting a clear luster and high roundness.
Paired with a vintage silver buckle structure, the lines are clean and crisp.
It can be casually paired with turtlenecks, shirts, or evening wear,
retaining a touch of misty light within the calming autumn/winter color palette.
Styling Suggestion | The Layered Art of Flowing Light in Autumn/Winter - The key to autumn/winter fashion is not thickness, but "layering."
"The Age of Flowing Light" uses three layers of pearl lines to outline a flowing rhythm, leaving gaps between the thick textures that allow light to penetrate.
🧥 Pairing with a Coat: Choose an oversized or long wool coat, letting the pearls drape naturally outside the collar,
allowing the soft white luster to brighten the sophisticated camel, dark gray, or dark green tones.
If belted, the pearls will form a clean, sleek curve, showcasing a mature feminine aura.
👗 Pairing with a Dress: Sleeveless or square-neck designs are highly recommended, as the pearls' lines against the skin create an elegant curve with the collarbone.
Dark fabrics such as black, navy blue, or dark green will accentuate the pearls' delicate, cool sheen.
During the day, add a short jacket; at night, the dress alone is enough to make you the center of attention.
🧶 Pairing with a Sweater: A turtleneck sweater is a classic autumn/winter pairing.
Let the three layers of pearls drape naturally outside the collar, allowing the soft light to flow across the sweater's texture. Off-white, milk tea, caramel, and gray-blue are all excellent color choices,
retaining a warm touch while maintaining a light luster.
Origin Introduction
This piece uses freshwater cultured pearls from China. Through long-term cultivation and strict selection, they exhibit high roundness and strong luster.
Recent technological advancements have made their surface texture and fineness approach that of Japanese Akoya pearls,
maintaining a jewelry-grade quality and high-end luster at a more affordable price.
Wearing and Care Recommendations
Avoid wearing with 18K gold gemstones or jade bracelets (such as on the wrist) to prevent scratching the pearls.
After wearing, gently wipe with a soft cloth. When storing, please place in a dry, cool place, avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture.
[Because our factory produces and processes its own pearls, all sizes of pearls are limited in quantity.
Because pearls require time to mature, if they sell out or if seawater and cultivation conditions affect the pearl harvest, resulting in a shortage of certain sizes, some styles may be temporarily out of stock.] Please inquire about product availability before ordering.
Our pearls, depending on their variety, originate from two major pearl-producing regions: Japan and China. All pearls are processed and crafted in professional Chinese jewelry workshops, ensuring consistent quality, exquisite craftsmanship, and perfectly showcasing the pearl's natural luster and charm.
🔹 Chinese Origin | Freshwater Cultured Pearls
China is the world's largest producer of freshwater pearls, with production concentrated in Zhejiang, Hunan, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces. Freshwater pearls are primarily cultivated using large mussels such as the triangle sail mussel. A single mussel can produce dozens of pearls simultaneously, resulting in a much higher yield than saltwater pearls. In the past decade, with significant upgrades in cultivation techniques and selection standards, high-quality freshwater pearls have reached near-Akoya grade in terms of roundness, pearl skin firmness, and luster.
Although cultured without a nucleus, top-quality freshwater pearls can achieve near-perfect roundness, a warm and translucent luster, and a strong sheen, while being more affordable, making them a highly cost-effective choice for everyday wear and designer jewelry.
🔹 Japanese Origin|Akoya (阿古屋) Saltwater Pearls, Masama Pearls
Akoya pearls are the most representative variety of saltwater pearls, primarily cultured in Mie, Kumamoto, and Ehime regions of Japan, especially along the Seto Inland Sea coast. Akoya pearls are cultivated from the Pinctada fucata oyster. Due to the small size of the oyster, only one pearl can be formed per shell, and it requires approximately three years of careful cultivation, resulting in relatively low production and high quality and price.
Akoya pearls are nucleated pearls with extremely high roundness and a cool, bright luster, often referred to as the "little light bulb" of the pearl world, and are highly sought after in the high-end jewelry industry. The surface often features a natural "orange peel" texture. If you choose the premium grade (with a Japanese certificate), it's nearly flawless and has an even brighter luster. Colors include cherry blossom pink, snow white, bluish-pink, cool blue, aurora gold, and queen color, among others. There's also the rare "Manata" color, a variant of Akoya pearls with a natural pinkish-purple sheen, highly sought after by collectors.
Whether you choose Akoya saltwater pearls or Chinese freshwater pearls, all products are made in our Chinese workshops, ensuring that every piece meets jewelry-grade standards from raw materials to craftsmanship details, adding an elegant touch to your everyday look.

Unsure whether to buy freshwater or Akoya pearls?
We've compiled seven key comparisons to help you choose the right pearl:
1. Origin and Cultivation: Akoya pearls are cultivated in seawater, primarily in Japan and southern China; freshwater pearls are mainly from lakes in the Yangtze River basin of China. Akoya pearls require 3-5 years to cultivate, producing only one pearl per oyster, while freshwater pearls can grow in multiple stages with a shorter cultivation period.
2. Shape and Size: Akoya pearls are highly round and have a standard shape, commonly 5-8mm in size; freshwater pearls are more varied, with nucleated varieties (such as Edison pearls) reaching over 12mm.
3. Color: Akoya pearls are primarily white with a pinkish luster; freshwater pearls come in a variety of natural colors, including pink, purple, and white.
IV. Luster: Akoya pearls have a sharp, intense luster, often referred to as "little light bulbs"; freshwater pearls, on the other hand, exhibit a soft, diffused luster with a delicate, silky sheen.
V. Surface Imperfections: Akoya pearls are relatively fine-grained, while freshwater pearls may display natural growth lines, although high-grade Akoya pearls can be extremely clean.
VI. Nacre Thickness and Durability: Freshwater pearls are either nucleus-free or have thick nacre layers, making them exceptionally durable; Akoya pearls, due to their thinner nacre layers, should be protected from heavy pressure and abrasion.
VII. Suitable Occasions: Akoya pearls are elegant and sophisticated, suitable for formal occasions; freshwater pearls are versatile and suitable for everyday wear and work attire.
