Cashmere, also known as "goat down," is sourced from goats primarily inhabiting the Himalayas at altitudes of 15,000 feet. To withstand the cold, they grow a layer of soft "down" in late autumn for added warmth. This down is one of the finest animal fibers, renowned not only for its exceptional warmth but also for its lightness, luster, and elasticity, earning it the nickname "diamond fiber."
Key Differences Between Cashmere and Regular Wool:
1. Cashmere feels lightweight and does not cause irritation to the skin.
2. Cashmere's irregular curls and fine texture create air pockets when made into a scarf, preventing cold air from penetrating while retaining body heat, thus providing excellent warmth.
3. Its good elasticity means it resists wrinkling and quickly recovers its beautiful shape after folding.
Suitable for: Spring, Autumn, Winter, Air-Conditioned Rooms, International Travel (including snowy regions)
Please note that there may be slight color differences between photos and the actual product. Hand-dyed items may not be perfectly uniform; please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern!
Precautions:
1. Due to its delicate nature, dry cleaning or ironing at a low temperature with a cloth is recommended. Do not bleach or iron at high temperatures.
2. Avoid wearing with other metal accessories or jewelry to prevent snagging.
3. The fine fibers of cashmere can occasionally snag, which is normal for 100% Cashmere. If snagging occurs, do not cut the fibers; gently pull them straight along the weaving direction with your hand.
4. If pilling occurs, gently separate the pills with your hand; do not use a brush.
5. Photos may exhibit color variations. While handmade textures are intricate, perfection cannot be guaranteed. The edges of the scarf have a downy texture.
6. Products made in Nepal may experience slight color fading or bleeding, as they are not treated with fixing agents. This is a normal occurrence.
