**About the brand:**
Originally, the "Coro" company was established in New York in the 19th century by American jewelers Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger. However, the first branded jewelry was not "CORO" but "CR" because the name included the first two letters of each partner's name. Unfortunately, Emanuel Cohn died in 1910, but the names remained as Cohn and Rosenberger (CR). Meanwhile, by the mid-1920s, the "Coro" company was already the largest jewelry producer on the African continent. In 1937, the company began branding higher-level "Coro Craft" products. It is worth noting that Coro has subsidiaries of several companies. Francois in particular – was all about marketing to promote a better, more expensive jewelry line. This brand produced jewelry from 1944 to 1960. Another "daughter" company – the company "Vendome" produced fine jewelry from 1944 to 1979. After World War II, the trademarks were "Corocraft", "Coro Pegasus" and "Coro Originals". Eventually, "Coro" stopped producing jewelry in 1979.
