Celine vintage shawl - Triomphe milk tea (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎), 100% authentic vintage product!
If you have any questions, please message before placing an order. All sales are final.
Autumn and winter are perhaps everyone's favorite seasons (at least, they're my favorite XD). You can wear jackets, hats, and scarves. Scarves are definitely my favorite autumn/winter accessory. Even though I already have many, I still buy new ones every year!
Since falling into the vintage rabbit hole, besides bags and small accessories, I also keep an eye out for scarves. This is because vintage styles are generally more timeless and, in many cases, more affordable than modern pieces...
Unfortunately, finding a vintage scarf in good condition and at a good price is even harder than finding a vintage bag! As they are textile products, they are more difficult to maintain in excellent condition compared to leather. Therefore, I can only acquire a few vintage scarves each year...
So, if you're looking for a vintage scarf, don't hesitate if you find one you like, as it's highly unlikely you'll find the same style or color again.
⚐⚑˒˒ This is a Japanese-made pure wool shawl scarf. The wool is soft and not scratchy, and it features the iconic Triomphe pattern. It's absolutely beautiful with its dual-tone design, combining khaki with a milk tea hue, making it usable on both sides! The milk tea shade is a rare and wonderfully gentle color. The entire scarf is covered in the Triomphe motif. Although it's a vintage item, its condition is very good, with only one or two tiny pinholes as minor imperfections and a light sense of use. There are no noticeable snags, loose threads, or color bleeding issues, nor is there any pilling. The original brand tag and care label are still attached.
As you know, standard brand scarves are quite expensive, and simple styles like this with such a special color are no longer offered by CELINE. Each scarf listed is a unique piece, and once sold, it won't be restocked. My annual vintage scarf inventory is truly limited to just a few pieces... If you like it, act fast!
❍ The photos are personally taken by the owner under natural daylight. Lighting can vary with time, and color discrepancies may occur. Due to the unique nature of vintage orders, all sales are final, and returns or exchanges are not permitted. Please examine the photos carefully before placing your order.

The main reason I love vintage bags is that the leather quality from past eras is superior to that of current new models. Most vintage items from previous decades were handmade, possessing the warmth of craftsmanship before the prevalence of machines. The artistry of renowned brands' artisans was exponentially more refined than any machine process, with every step meticulously crafted! Nowadays, most processes are automated and then assembled by hand, lacking the intricate detail of purely manual work. A clear comparison can be made by examining the monogram patterns on recently reissued older designs versus genuine vintage pieces from past eras; the level of detail in the monogram alone is entirely different. If you appreciate monograms, seek out vintage items – truly!
In terms of style, older pieces were generally more simple, timeless, and enduring. Many current designs are actually reproductions or reinterpretations of vintage styles. However, new models are priced higher, and their designs often involve additions or modifications to older styles. Ultimately, new designs tend to be more complex than their vintage predecessors. As you grow older, you likely realize that simplicity often lasts the longest!
The quality of raw materials in older pieces is also superior to newer ones. Anyone familiar with leather can see that the materials used in new items are generally of a lower grade than those from the past. This is primarily due to the high cost and scarcity of premium raw materials today, coupled with the exceptionally high standards for finished products back then. The difference in hardware is also readily apparent; hardware on many new bags can oxidize and discolor after just a year or two of use, whereas vintage pieces typically do not. This is not only due to the premium materials and meticulous craftsmanship but also because hardware from earlier eras was often plated with real K gold! Thus, even vintage bags produced in the 60s or 70s retain their brilliant shine today! Among the brands I am familiar with, none of their new products currently feature K gold hardware.
Many consider vintage bags a unique form of investment; they rarely depreciate and often appreciate in value. This is because the market for vintage bags in good condition is dwindling, with fewer available each year, leading to steadily increasing prices. Furthermore, certain brands periodically increase their prices, and each adjustment influences the resale market. The recent trend of Japanese and Korean celebrities using vintage bags has also caused prices for specific models to skyrocket instantly. When a brand reintroduces a modified version of a classic, the price of the original and even similar styles can surge. Therefore, vintage items are truly a case of "buy early, enjoy longer; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's the truth in the vintage world...). This is based on personal experience; I regret not entering the vintage collecting world earlier for many series, as they are now impossible to find, or if found, are prohibitively expensive.
As an extra gift with your vintage bag order, you'll receive leather conditioning oil (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I use it myself, so I've portioned some into small containers to share. Apply a small amount to genuine leather to clean and add moisture, but it's not necessary after every use; periodic application is sufficient. I typically use it when organizing my closet during seasonal transitions (which makes changing seasons quite an undertaking... |||). The leather on vintage bags is inherently excellent. With careful use and proper storage, they can easily last another decade and even be passed down to your daughter! I collect every vintage bag because I love it, and I hope you will cherish it and preserve it for years to come ☪︎ *.。
