Arita ware pottery Kitsuru Seito is a brand jointly developed by ceramic artist Shoji Yamaguchi and creative director Yosuke Morokuma.
The fabric is ivory in color and has small cracks called kankutsu (intrusions) throughout, giving it a soft impression.
The dark blue painting has a sharp contrast and a pop finish.
The stable shape and generous size make it great for rice parties such as ochazuke.
It goes well with everyday Japanese and Western food, so it is popular to match it with cups and small bowls, or to use the same type with different patterns.
[About penetration] There are small cracks on the surface, but these are not cracks. It's just on the surface.
Stains may appear as the product is used. It's just a matter of taste, but if you're concerned about it, you can restore it to its original state by rubbing it with dilute bleach. (In that case, please rinse thoroughly.)
