【Course Format Details】
・This course focuses on "flat embroidery painting" using wool felt.
・This is not a three-dimensional relief sculpture (it will not be significantly raised).
・The artwork is completed within a 15 × 15 cm embroidery hoop.
・This is a one-day experiential workshop.
・The style of the artwork is impressionistic; it will not be an exact replica of the sample.
・Fine details can be adjusted at home after the class.
★ For those wishing to learn more detailed and realistic techniques, an advanced "Free Creation Embroidery Painting Class" will be offered later.
【Photo Preparation Guide】
Please provide a clear, close-up photo of your pet before the class.
Avoid:
・Photos that are too dark or have a yellow cast.
・Overexposed photos.
・Blurry images.
★ A slightly angled profile shot is recommended to better capture depth and character.

* For long-haired breeds such as Poodles, Bichon Frises, Maltese, Shih Tzus, etc.,
due to a different crafting process,
the artwork will feature a subtle relief effect of approximately 0.5 cm.
This requires special fibers (silk, mohair) and pre-treatment for the curls.

【 Location 】
A shared space near NTU Hospital to Minquan West Road MRT stations (approx. 10 minutes walk from the MRT).
The detailed classroom address will be confirmed the evening before the class and notified to registered students via SMS and email. Please keep an eye on your messages.
2. Tools
Basic wool felting tools, including needles and mats, are required for the class.
Wet felting and sewing tools will be available for shared use during the class.
For hygiene reasons, wool felting needles and mats are not available for loan. Please bring your own or add them to your order via the remark section, choosing the brand recommended by the instructor.

【Important Notes】
● Please bring your own basic wool felting tools or purchase them. Other tools will be provided for shared use: small scissors, awl, pins, glue, wet felting, and sewing tools.
● Students are welcome to bring their own box to take their artwork home. Minor pilling from friction is normal and can be trimmed with small scissors.
● Everyone works at a different pace. Please follow the instructor's steps. The techniques will be thoroughly taught during the class, and fine-tuning can be done at home.
● Different courses may be conducted simultaneously in the same time slot. A minimum of 4 participants in total for the day is required for the class to proceed.
● To maintain quality, observing, visiting, accompanying, or sharing a project between two people is not permitted.
● By participating, you agree that the organizers may take photos and share them on online platforms for event documentation.
【Course Cancellation and Leave Policy】
To ensure the quality of the course and the rights of other participants, please confirm your ability to comply with the following course regulations before registering. Registration implies your agreement and adherence. Thank you.
I. Student-Initiated Cancellation/Leave
Course fees are generally non-refundable.
One cancellation is permitted per course; subsequent cancellations will result in the materials being mailed.
The official contact time with the "Mao Qi Lai Wan Official Platform" will be used as the reference; private messages to the instructor will not be considered formal cancellation or leave notifications.
Cancellation Timing and Procedures:
15 days before the class date: Fees can be credited towards other courses (additional fees may apply).
Within 14 days before the class date: A deduction of $600 × total course duration will be applied to the credited amount.
Cancellation 3 days before the class date: Half of the course fee will be deducted (minimum $600 if half is less than $600), and the materials will be mailed.
Cancellation on the day of the class: No refund or credit will be issued; materials will be mailed.
II. Lateness and Absence
Arriving more than 1/3 of the total class time late or leaving early on the day of the class will be considered an absence, and admission will be denied.
III. Make-up Class Policy
For consecutive courses requiring a separate make-up session, a fee of $200/hour will apply.
Make-up classes must be scheduled privately by contacting the "Mao Qi Lai Wan Official Platform"; proactive notifications will not be provided.
IV. Other Notes
For consecutive courses, the date of the first class will be used for calculations.
If the organizer cancels the event, you will be notified of rescheduling or a refund.
In case of natural disasters (e.g., typhoons) resulting in school closures in your area or at the class location, a full refund will be issued.
