However, due to variations in bone density and individual constitution, the volume of ashes after cremation can differ. • Ashes + some bones / complete skeletal remains: There is limited data available for this, making it difficult to accurately estimate the size and length of skeletal remains. Furthermore, Moonset House urns have limited capacity. It is recommended to confirm the actual volume and dimensions after cremation or aquatic cremation before deciding on the urn size. Q2. What if I'm unsure about the ash volume? The safest approach is to first ask your pet funeral service provider if they can provide a temporary paper container. After cremation or aquatic cremation, confirm the ash weight or bone dimensions, then select the urn size. You can transfer the contents once you receive the urn. ( **Special Reminder:** For pets weighing over 20 kg, if they have a slender build, the ash volume might be more than expected. In about 10% of cases, leaner pets result in "lighter weight, heavier ash volume." In such situations, it is recommended to choose a slightly larger urn for peace of mind.) Q3. What if I find the ashes or bones don't fit after receiving the urn? • Reason 1: Sometimes, due to the pet's slender build, the proportion of bone can be heavier, leading to fit issues. • Reason 2: The moisture-proof bag or desiccant occupies space. You can remove the bag or desiccant, seal the urn, and keep it in a dry place. • Alternatively, some ashes can be preserved in other jewelry or memorial items.
