In 2015, Luan Art initiated the "Hand-Drawn Taichung Old City Art Map" project, receiving funding from the Taichung City Government's Department of Economic Development's 2015 Local Industry Innovation and R&D Promotion (SBIR) program. Led by watercolor artist Sun Shao-Ying, plein air sketching events are held across Taichung monthly. This offers art enthusiasts who enjoy sketching and light travel a collection of Sun Shao-Ying's old city artwork and a comprehensive sketching guide.
