Please be mindful of color transfer, especially when new. Avoid wearing it with light-colored clothing when first using it. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are preserved on the surface and back. This natural leather, intentionally crafted to showcase its inherent qualities, makes each piece truly unique. ◾️ Color Variation As the leather is finished using only dyes and no pigments, color adjustment is challenging, leading to inevitable variations. Even within the same color, there can be differences. This dye finish contributes to the authentic, natural character of the leather. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain The grain refers to the pattern of wrinkles on the leather's surface. On a single hide, some areas may have more pronounced wrinkles than others. These variations are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ Italian Leather Markings: Numbers Indicating Hide Size The numbers on the back are a mark of Italian leather, indicating the size of the hide. A single number is stamped on each hide. These markings have a unique character and are often found on high-quality sections, so they are left as is. Occasionally, these numbers may appear on the product. Personally, I find items with these numbers quite appealing. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water, potentially causing stains. If it gets wet, wiping it dry as soon as possible can help prevent stains. Applying Ranapur Leather Treatment can provide water-repellent properties. ◾️ Wrinkles (Tora) These are streaks or wrinkles that appear in areas of intense muscle movement and stretching. They are a distinctive characteristic of natural leather and are not indicative of cracks or splits. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather goods use thin, processed leather bonded with a core material for strength, and often feature an inner lining. However, unlike leather, linings can degrade over time, becoming sticky or peeling. To ensure longevity, this wallet is crafted using only substantial leather for both thickness and strength, without an inner lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES&GENTLEMEN develops a richer patina and deeper luster over time with proper oil maintenance. For bags, apply oil approximately once every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Ranapur, available in our online store. Ranapur is a leather treatment that conditions, adds shine, and provides water repellency. Small leather goods, being handled frequently, naturally develop a lustrous color without the need for frequent oil application. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges We do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of damage or defects caused by shipping accidents, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will replace it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for small accessories and 3-4 weeks for bags.
