Elephant Trunk Rock is located opposite the Ruifang Shen'ao Power Plant on the northern coastal road. It was formerly named Fanzi'ao because of a famous sea-eroded rock wall that looks very much like an Indian head when viewed from the side. In the sea cliff terrain on the innermost side of the headland, there is a unique sea cave, which is the famous Elephant Trunk Rock. The sea here is stable, and you can enjoy the special beauty of this northern coast by watching from the sea through a canoe. It is recommended to drive by yourself. If you take transportation, you can take the 103 Badouzi bus at the Keelung City Bus Terminal (every 40 minutes), get off at Badouzi Station (the journey takes about 30 minutes), and then walk for about 15 minutes to Zhaoming Palace.

【Cancellation Policy】
Organizer cancellation policy:
(1) If the Central Meteorological Administration issues a maritime typhoon warning, the trip will be automatically canceled and a full refund will be issued.
(2) The Central Meteorological Administration issues a large wave warning and will announce the cancellation of the trip and a full refund within 24 hours.
(3) The weather forecast is good, but the water conditions at the site that day are obviously not suitable for entering the water. The activity will be canceled and the full refund will be made after deducting the insurance and administrative fees.
(4) No refunds will be given if the sea conditions deteriorate during the voyage and the voyage is changed or suspended for safety reasons.
Consumer Return Policy:
(1) If canceled within 6 days to 4 days before departure date (excluding departure date), only 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
(2) No rescheduling or cancellation will be accepted from 3 days before the departure date to the same day, and no refund will be given.
Changes of participants must be notified before noon the day before the event, and the new participant’s insurance information must be prepared.
If you need to change the event level (date and session) due to personal factors, you can only change it once, and please inform us in advance (requests for temporary change of level will no longer be accepted 3 days before the event date). After changing the tier, no rescheduling or cancellation will be accepted, and no refund will be given.
【Precautions】
1. Activity restrictions:
(1) Only those aged 6 years and above and below 65 years old (inclusive) can register to participate
(2) Canoeing experience requires a lot of physical strength, so please be sure to carefully evaluate your own abilities; travelers who are pregnant, have knee injuries, or are in poor physical condition are not suitable to participate in this activity
2. Professional coaches will accompany the team during the trip. According to Taiwan Water Recreation Management Regulations, a coach stipulates that the legal limit is within 20 people. In principle, we provide one coach for 8 to 11 people, and 2 coaches for 12 or more people, and so on.
3. The team operates on a group-in, group-out basis. Once the coach and team members have left the shore, latecomers will not be allowed to sail on another boat (and no refunds will be given). Please be especially careful not to be late, so as not to affect your own rights.
4. Water sports are easily affected by the weather. During the actual voyage, the team leader may modify the itinerary according to changes in wind direction and hydrological conditions, or even cancel the voyage midway if the weather conditions worsen. If you cannot accept that the itinerary may change for any reason, please do not participate. In order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of this activity, all groups must enter and exit in groups and follow the instructions of the leader coach. We are not responsible for any accidents that occur if you leave the group on your own or do not listen to advice!
5. If you do not want the photos taken during the trip to appear on the Internet, please inform the instructor who took the photos on site.
