I was not realised that they are part of my life until I try to create my own product. Basically, I am a designer who used to work in creative industry. One day, I realise that handicraft products has decreased. They are lesser and lesser of people who still interested in handicrafts. This collection has been collaborated with Thai basketry makers. We discovered bamboo weaving village in Thailand that has produced household products for their home use.We see the delicate technique that they use fine inner layer of bamboo in the weave. This layer is the most flexible layer of bamboo that can be formed in any shape following the design. After we understand this unique character of material, we have worked with the artisans to develop ordinary basket to an exotic and stylish lamp. We create the Glow Collection to show an exotic effect of weaving shadow. We have simplified the traditional craft with a twist of function elegantly.
