[Synopsis]
This is a limited reprint edition of "Fighting to Be Unharmed" (Hong Kong Edition), with two new poetic prefaces; each book comes with a random "Lin Xi's Poetic Style Metal Bookmark."
To be a useful good person, one must first be "unharmed" through their struggles. As long as you don't lose hope in your own life, you won't despair in the world.
—Dedicated to those who are "heartbroken because their heart is willing to feel pain" at this very moment.
As I drifted to sleep with red eyes from horrifying live streams, mourning for the deceased who were strangers yet so familiar, my closest loved one suddenly passed away.
The pain of personal bereavement intersecting with collective grief, all because of love.
Love reminds us how we once lived and died for something, thus urging us to live with all our might and strive to be human.
In extraordinary times, we must preserve the everyday of life.
So, have I healed by now? Not yet, and I'm in no rush, nor do I have the heart to fully recover.
As the lyricist of "Fighting to Be Unharmed," I would say, I cannot be someone who lets go of "her."
As the author of this book, "Fighting to Be Unharmed," I have documented firsthand experiences of "As your strength goes, so will your days," and also come to understand the power of "helplessness" and the truth of love and pain coexisting.
To keep the body pure and unharmed, one must still live life to the fullest.
