For decades, the appearance of the village has been constantly changing over time: the military camp at the foot of the mountain is a common memory of the older generation of residents of Treasure Rock. "There used to be a big bathhouse in the camp, and our children would sneak in to play in the water." Of course, these military buildings are no longer there, but we can still find clues from some corners of the village that it was once a military powerhouse. The history of Treasure Rock is closely related to temples, military camps, and residents who settled here at different times. After 2010, the factor of "art" has been added to this community, adding more diversity to the already rich and diverse spatial landscape. The same color, however, looking back at this period of decades of local development history is not smooth. The most famous twist is that this settlement once faced complete demolition and triggered the famous preservation and resistance movement. Now the settlement is regarded as one of the “art villages”. The name has been reopened. However, tourists, residents and art, government units and non-governmental organizations, people with different positions are still facing the place of Treasure Rock, and they are still facing various issues to be discussed and resolved.
