As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we maintain rigorous quality control at the factory. We also make efforts to avoid these imperfections during fabric cutting and, when unavoidable, place them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, complete elimination is not possible.
