Hime Starfruit | Medium-sized fruit bonsai

Improved new starfruit variety: Hime Starfruit. Primarily for ornamental fruit display, with strengthened fruit stalks so the fruit does not drop easily. The flowering and fruiting period is from May to November, with ripe fruits measuring approximately 3-4 cm (larger than the standard Hime Starfruit). Initially green, the fruit will gradually turn into a vibrant yellow when ripe. This is a fruit bonsai that flowers easily and is self-pollinating. The fruit stays on the tree for up to 1.5 months; it will continue to flower during this time, though the heaviest blooming occurs when no fruit is present. It has a high demand for water and can be grown with a water tray underneath. Mature leaves often appear drooping; this is the plant’s way of self-hydrating. Leaves have a faster metabolic rate, so feel free to mist the leaves when watering. It is characteristic of starfruit tree species that the leaves go fully dormant when moved indoors or at night. / In Stock / Photos 1-7: Taken on 2026/10/24 Photos 8-9: Taken on 2025/7/7 Features a curved tree shape, domestically propagated and cultivated with strong vigor.
