Design Interpretation: This terrarium is inspired by the North African campaign. Layers of white 'thousand-layer stone' resemble the canyon walls of the Sahara, while a tan camouflage tank is subtly hidden within the sandy landscape, a miniature representation of Rommel's dominance on the battlefield. This design intentionally mixes succulents and mosses, challenging conventional plant classifications. It symbolizes Rommel carving out a line of life amidst drought and sandstorms. The succulents are resilient like his tactics, while the mosses are soft yet tenacious, their intertwined roots mirroring advancing troops.
